Day 357

Andy & I went to a live nativity that my really close friends put on every year tonight. It is something I MUST do every year before Christmas because it is the one thing that really gets me in the true Christmas spirit. I adore this pageant so much because of the message!

Day 346

I took pictures for a wedding today. It was snowing like CRAZY, but the bride & groom were still willing to take some pictures outside the temple. The bride is one of my fellow classmates, and she is seriously the nicest girl you could ever meet. She always has a smile on her face, and I have never heard her complain. I am so happy for her & her new hubby! They are such a wonderful couple! Congrats, D & J!

Day 332

We had a date night with my best friends and their husbands/boyfriends tonight. We went to the Ogden Christmas Parade and then went back to the house to play games. We played the games What If... and Ligretto. We played for hours! It was so fun spending time with my friends! I have missed them so much! I love these girls like they were my own sisters.
Today also marks a special day for Andy & I. It was exactly one year ago today that Andy asked me to marry him! I can't believe that was an entire year ago, and that we have been married for almost 7 whole months! Time has flown by so fast! I am so glad I am married to Andy, and for all the time we get to spend together! I love him so very much!

Day 320

I took some baby pictures for some friends of ours this last weekend, but didn't start editing them until today. This little girl was such a cutie even though she wasn't very happy with us tormenting her ;). Thanks, Mel, for letting me take these for you. I had a lot of fun!

Day 309

As I was walking to my car after school, I saw this. The children's school at Weber made this sign. Each kid put their hand prints on it as well as wrote a little note (of course the teachers had to write it for them). One note said, "Thanks for teaching my teacher about math. I would have been lost without her." The majority of these notes were absolutely hilarious to read, but overall they had a sweet message! YOU REALLY HAVE TOUCHED OUT LIVES FOREVER, DIANE PUGMIRE!

Day 305

Tonight was the viewing for my dear friend and teacher, Diane Pugmire. I am really going to miss Diane, but just being there brought me peace. As we entered the forrier (is that how you spell that?), there were tons of pictures set up. These pictures were some of my favorite, but my most favorite is the math equation picture (click on the image to see a bigger version). It may not make sense to some of you, so here you go. D1 + D2 stands for Diane + her husband. Then, all the parentheses underneath that represent her kids and their spouses. And all that equals infinity! Her husband came up with that, and I just thought it was so awesome! I also really liked the smaller hand drawn picture of Diane & Christ. It's so tender to me.

Day 302

Before class today, I went to go see if I could find my other math teacher. I wanted to talk to her about Diane, but she wasn't there when I got there. Because her office is right across the hall from Diane's office, it was hard to miss the large card on Diane's door. As I signed the card, I couldn't help but think about how unreal this whole situation seems. It's really hard for me to think that she's gone! I couldn't help but shed some tears as I looked through the pictures on Diane's door. I am going to miss her so very much! She was an amazing friend & teacher!

Day 301

One of the most amazing teachers I have ever had passed away this morning. She and another awesome teacher of mine were just named Math Teachers of the Year for the state of Utah! She is one of the main reasons why I decided to become a math specialist. I just can't believe she can be teaching class one day and be gone the next! Life is too short. I am going to miss her so much! Thanks for being such a great example to me, Diane! I love you & miss you!

Day 282

Andy & I went on a group date with Andy's friends Tony & Nick and their dates. We first met at Iggy's for dinner (VERY EXPENSIVE--at least for Andy & I), then we headed to the Punkinaze. The cornmaze was not scary at all! We saw a total of two scarers and they were both smaller than all of us! Although we didn't get scared, we had a wonderful time playing hide-n-seek in the corn maze. It was an amazing group date!

Day 257

I took family pictures for my brother-in-law's family last week. I had a lot of fun with all of them! This is just one of my favorites.

Day 247

One of my best friends, Jessica, got married today in the Logan LDS temple! The ceremony was amazing. I am so grateful that I was able to be there for her. I know that she and her husband are going to have a great time being married. I am so happy for the two of them!
Here is Tricia, Jessica, & I at the Jessica's reception. I sure love my friends! They are such amazing examples to me.

Day 246

I spent most of my night at my friends' wedding dinner. The food was great, but the company was definitely the best. I love hanging out with my friends! I can't wait for the wedding tomorrow!!! It's going to be wonderful!

Day 242

Andy's huntin' buddy recently got home from his mission in Hawaii & today we went to his ward to hear him speak. We had such a great time catching up with him & other friends. By the way, check out Andy's neck beard thing that's going on. It's getting a little bit out of control don't you think?

Day 237

I was looking through some older pictures of mine, and I found this one. These are two of my bestest buddies in the entire world--my sister, Kristina, and my friend, Caitlyn. This picture was taken while I was trying on wedding dresses. What goofs, but I sure love them!

I took Groomals for my friend's fiance tonight. It was fun just hanging out with the two of them while we took pictures! I think they are such a fun couple. I know they are going to be so happy together.

Andy, Caitlyn, & I went to the fair tonight! Here is Caitlyn & her favorite part of the fair--THE GOATS! My favorite part was the hypnotist! SO FUNNY!

I took Bridal pictures for one of my best friends tonight. Jess looked so beautiful! I am so excited for her to get married! She is the best!

Day 177

What do boys do on a friday night when there is just nothing to do? BUILD A FIRE & BURN ANYTHING THEY CAN FIND. Here they are burning the base boards of Andy's parents' living room. I just don't get why fire is so fun!

Day 159

My bestest buddy, Caitlyn, came to visit me at my house today. We just talked the whole time. I love being married, but I miss being able to hang out with my buddies! Lova ya, Cait! I had fun with you today.

Day 157

Andy & I went to the air show today with friends and family. The thunderbirds were definitely the best part!!!
