Day 21
So I feel like I am back in elementary school. I am taking a Creative Processes class this semester and we are learning how to play the recorder. The last time I touched one of these things I was in 5th grade! I even remember (and can still play) the song we learned how to play. I guess "Hot Cross Buns" is a great song for beginners because that's what we are learning now. I feel like a pro because I already know that song, but I am still enjoying learning all about how to read music. This class is the funnest, and strangest, class I have ever taken! (Oh, I have almost perfected "Jingle Bells". Too bad Christmas is over!)P.S. The shirt I am wearing in this picture is the shirt Andy won at the tubing activity with the young adult ward. It fits me perfectly.

Day 20: A Day in History
The United States of America got a new president today, but that's not the real significance. Our 44th president is the first black president of the United States of America! I have been pretty worried about having Obama as a president, but he is really growing on me. I am grateful for the amazing country, full of freedom, that we are so blessed to live in. I am glad that I was able to watch as history was made today!!! (I liked both of these pictures that I found on the internet, that's why there are two). Monday, January 19, 2009
Day 19
Happy Martin Luther King Day! I had a pretty productive day today. I got tons of homework done, and I played interior designer for the day. We got my parents this huge family picture for Christmas and today my dad decided he was going to put it up. Well, putting that picture up meant moving his much loved elk antlers, and then he had to move something else to put those back up, and so on and so forth. We redecorated our family room, living room, and kitchen today (redecorated=hanging things on the walls). I love the way everything turned out. (The shelf in the picture is going to be stained in a dark brown finish and the two pictures on the shelf will be framed as soon as we go buy new frames). I sure love to decorate! Day 18
We celebrated my brother-in-law, nephew, and niece's birthdays today. Here is just a picture of Aidan & Jerzee blowing out their candles. Aidan (blue candles) turned 3 on January 6th and Jerzee (pink candles) turns 2 tomorrow. My brother-in-law, Sean, turned OLD (jk. He's not really that old) on January 14th. HAPPY BIRTHDAY Aidan, Sean, & Jerzee! Saturday, January 17, 2009
Day 17
Everytime we went down the hill, we went as a huge group. We got up to 15 people hooked together on one run. It was awesome!!! Andy even won a prize, but I am the one who will get to enjoy it because it was a size SMALL Angler's Den T-shirt.

Day 11
Here is the problem that we were trying to solve. See if you can find the correct answer and then comment what you found. (Hint: Draw a picture).
A motorcyclist was sent by the post office to meet a plane at the airport. The plane landed ahead of schedule, and its mail was taken toward the post office by horse. After half an hour, the horseman met the motorcyclist on the road and gave him the mail. The motorcyclist returned to the post office 20 minutes before he was expected. How many minutes early did the plane land?

Day 8
Just barely over a year ago, I made it a goal to write in my journal every day. Here is a picture of the of all the journals I have completed (most of them just in the past year). I think my love for journaling is what really made me fall in love with this Project 365 idea. (By the way, I got my kit today!!! I am still planning on keeping this blog up to date though, so don't worry). Wednesday, January 7, 2009

Day 3
I am so excited to get my wedding plans going. Tami, Shanna, and I went to a Bridal Show this morning. It was so fun and so informative! I feel like my ideas for my wedding are a whole lot clearer. The funnest thing at the bridal show was the photobooths. We sure had fun being crazy--as always!!!Then later tonight, Andy & I went shopping because we had nothing better to do. Andy ended up buying me two pairs of shoes for $16! What a deal! I might just end up wearing my new heels on our wedding day, but we'll see.

Day 2
Today was a very boring day in my world. Tami, Nick, Andy, & I watched Horton Hears A Who because we had nothing better to do, but this movie defintely makes up for our boredom. Steve Carell and Jim Carrey make this movie hilarious!!! It's not only funny, but it has a great message. A person's a person, no matter how small! This movie is definitely one of my top 20 movies! Day 1
After buying Creative Keepsake's Project 365 Kit exactly at 9 am, some how a Wii Fit frenzy emerged! All the boys in my family go rabbit hunting every New Year's day, so my sisters and I decided to have our own party, but it was not planned. It just happened. My sister, Tiffany, brought over her Wii Fit and we played ALL DAY!!! My cousin, Britney, even got into all the Wii madness!
