Day 31

Andy finally cleaned his truck! This is a big deal to me because whenever we go somewhere in his truck, I have to move things out of the way. Way to go Andy and thanks for remembering that you have a fiance that doesn't like having to clean off the seat every time!

Day 30

Andy started flight school today. Actually he restarted flight school today. He began flight school a few years ago, but didn't finish so he is picking up where he left off. I am so proud of him for "flying" after his dreams!

Day 29

Andy & I bought our first piece of furniture for our apartment (which we don't have) today! We found this kitchen table with matching chairs on ksl.com for $40, so we jumped on it! The set is in pretty good shape except for one of the legs on the table falls off, but that is fixable. We just hope we can find an apartment that will fit a kitchen table this size! :) Oh, Andy is acting like he is waiting for someone else to say the prayer, but we weren't really about to pray. He's a weirdo sometimes.

Day 28

So I was driving to work today, and I just had to take a picture of the pretty snow. Now, I have to be honest--I HATE THE SNOW! It's cold and very dangerous, but it very pretty! I wish I could have gotten a better picture, but taking a picture while driving is hard to do & not very safe!

Day 27

So for those of you who don't know, our wedding colors are pink & brown. I have been searching for little boy outfits, and little girl dresses, and skirts for the sisters, and dress shirts for the boys, and...well the list continues, but I can finally stop searching for one thing on my long list!!! We found these dresses for all the little girls at Sam's Club. I actually saw these dresses last Saturday, but we didn't get them because I was going to keep looking around. Andy's mom was at Sam's Club today and just bought a few of them so we could let some of the little girls try them on. When my nieces tried them on, I couldn't stop smiling. They are adorable!!! Aspyn put on the dress and said, "Oh, this is gorgeous Kenzi! How long until you get married so I can wear this dress?" Thanks Jan for getting these. I LOVE THEM!!!

Day 26

Andy & Nick have been looking for an angel fish for Andy's fish tank for quite some time, and they finally found one last Saturday, but it died later that night. Here is a picture of Nick eating the dead fish! (He's not really eating it. This is really a picture of us standing in line at Walmart customer service to get our money back for the dead fish).

Day 25

Hanging out with Andy's family is one of my most favorite things to do! There is never a dull moment with this family. They always have the funniest comments or jokes. Here is a picture that Tami actually took, but I decided to use it too (hopefully that's okay Tam). This picture is just of the fam just hanging out. We sure have fun together!

Saturday, January 24, 2009

Day 24

Andy's really good friend, Scott, got married today. He actually married a girl that grew up with Andy & Scott. Andy & Scott grew up doing everything together. I am grateful for the friendship that they had. Congratulations Scott & Felicia! You are so perfect for each other and I wish you the very best!

Day 23

Andy was supposed to start flight school today, but because of all the fog we got today, he couldn't. I was planning on taking a picture of him & his plane, but that didn't work. But no fail, I found something to take a picture of--us at the Training Table. Andy won $20 to the Training Table off of X96 (Andy is seriously one of their biggest fans. They even know him by name). The food was delicious, but the company was my favorite thing about the date. I love this kid so much! I cannot wait for May 2nd!

Thursday, January 22, 2009

Day 22

While the parents are away, the kids play! Benson has been staying at Andy's house since yesterday because his parents are away on a cruise. Andy's mom had to go to a relief society meeting tonight, so Andy & I ended up babysitting Benson. He is the funniest kid to be around. He would jump on this red bean bag as a hint that he wanted me to tickle him! I am glad that this little boy is going to be my nephew very soon! He is so sweet. Benson, you are just too cute!

Day 21

So I feel like I am back in elementary school. I am taking a Creative Processes class this semester and we are learning how to play the recorder. The last time I touched one of these things I was in 5th grade! I even remember (and can still play) the song we learned how to play. I guess "Hot Cross Buns" is a great song for beginners because that's what we are learning now. I feel like a pro because I already know that song, but I am still enjoying learning all about how to read music. This class is the funnest, and strangest, class I have ever taken! (Oh, I have almost perfected "Jingle Bells". Too bad Christmas is over!)
P.S. The shirt I am wearing in this picture is the shirt Andy won at the tubing activity with the young adult ward. It fits me perfectly.

Day 20: A Day in History

The United States of America got a new president today, but that's not the real significance. Our 44th president is the first black president of the United States of America! I have been pretty worried about having Obama as a president, but he is really growing on me. I am grateful for the amazing country, full of freedom, that we are so blessed to live in. I am glad that I was able to watch as history was made today!!! (I liked both of these pictures that I found on the internet, that's why there are two).

Monday, January 19, 2009

Day 19

Happy Martin Luther King Day! I had a pretty productive day today. I got tons of homework done, and I played interior designer for the day. We got my parents this huge family picture for Christmas and today my dad decided he was going to put it up. Well, putting that picture up meant moving his much loved elk antlers, and then he had to move something else to put those back up, and so on and so forth. We redecorated our family room, living room, and kitchen today (redecorated=hanging things on the walls). I love the way everything turned out. (The shelf in the picture is going to be stained in a dark brown finish and the two pictures on the shelf will be framed as soon as we go buy new frames). I sure love to decorate!

Day 18

We celebrated my brother-in-law, nephew, and niece's birthdays today. Here is just a picture of Aidan & Jerzee blowing out their candles. Aidan (blue candles) turned 3 on January 6th and Jerzee (pink candles) turns 2 tomorrow. My brother-in-law, Sean, turned OLD (jk. He's not really that old) on January 14th. HAPPY BIRTHDAY Aidan, Sean, & Jerzee!

Saturday, January 17, 2009

Day 17

Andy & I went with the young adults on a tubing activity this morning at Soldiers Hollow. It was pretty fun! They provide the tubes and they even pull you back up the mountain! Now that's my kind of tubing.
Everytime we went down the hill, we went as a huge group. We got up to 15 people hooked together on one run. It was awesome!!! Andy even won a prize, but I am the one who will get to enjoy it because it was a size SMALL Angler's Den T-shirt.

Friday, January 16, 2009

Day 16

So I was filling my car up with gas today and this is what I saw! I didn't quite catch it all because the sun was setting too quickly.

Thursday, January 15, 2009

Day 15

I am an Office ADDICT (Thanks to Tami, Nick, & Andy). For the past few weeks, there has only been Office reruns, but there was finally a new one today!!! I am not going to spoil it for any of you die hard Office fans, so don't worry. The picture above is one of my favorite Jim faces (the quality is pretty bad because I was taking a picture of a TV!).

Wednesday, January 14, 2009

Day 14

I knew this was bound to happen. Andy bought me a Camo swimming suit (Mossy Oak Camo nonetheless) and some Max4 camo pajamas! I always told myself that I would never wear camo, but I really like the swimming suit and the pajamas! They are both very cute! (Sorry there isn't a picture of the pajamas. Andy had to send the pants back because he got me a few sizes too big)!

Tuesday, January 13, 2009

Day 13

I ordered some fake flowers to use at the reception, and I got them in the mail today. I bought 154 for $18! What a steal! They are an exact match to our colors and the brown in the center is so awesome!!! Andy's sisters and I are going to make headpieces with these flowers for the little girls as well as the sisters for the wedding. Pretty fun stuff!

Monday, January 12, 2009

Day 12

I realized that at about 9 o' clock tonight I hadn't taken my picture of the day yet, and I really couldn't think of anything, until I saw this on the kitchen table! Yep, it's the confirmation letter from the Salt Lake Temple for our wedding day!!! This wedding seems so real now! I can't wait!

Sunday, January 11, 2009

Day 11

I am taking a Problem Solving math class this semester. The questions are pretty tough sometimes so I end up asking other people to solve the problem. Today, I asked Andy to solve the problem that was making my brain hurt. He spent about 30 minutes just trying to figure it out. It was fun watching him try, but he wasn't the person who ended up solving the problem. Andy's dad, Wayne, was the amazing problem solver! Way to go Wayne!

Here is the problem that we were trying to solve. See if you can find the correct answer and then comment what you found. (Hint: Draw a picture).

A motorcyclist was sent by the post office to meet a plane at the airport. The plane landed ahead of schedule, and its mail was taken toward the post office by horse. After half an hour, the horseman met the motorcyclist on the road and gave him the mail. The motorcyclist returned to the post office 20 minutes before he was expected. How many minutes early did the plane land?

Saturday, January 10, 2009

Day 10

I GOT MY WEDDING DRESS TODAY! (I would post a full picture of the dress, but I don't want Andy to see it, so this is all you get). I absolutely loved playing dress up all day (we shopped for 7 hours)! I am so grateful to my family and my friends that came with me! (I appreciate all your input and advice! Sorry it took so long, and I love you ALL so much!)

Friday, January 9, 2009

Day 9

Andy & I hung out with my family tonight (well Andy mostly hung out with Aidan). Aidan decided to switch names with Andy. So Aidan is now Andy and Andy is now Aidan. Aidan thought it was so funny to call Andy Aidan. These two boys are so cute together!

Thursday, January 8, 2009

Day 8

Just barely over a year ago, I made it a goal to write in my journal every day. Here is a picture of the of all the journals I have completed (most of them just in the past year). I think my love for journaling is what really made me fall in love with this Project 365 idea. (By the way, I got my kit today!!! I am still planning on keeping this blog up to date though, so don't worry).

Wednesday, January 7, 2009

Day 7

Third time's the charm!!! Andy & I have been searching very hard for a comforter for our new bed that I got for Christmas. The first we bought was too small, and the second one was made out of this awful fabric that I would never sleep on! I found the third one at Walmart online, but the only place they had them in the stores was in Centerville. Good thing Andy's work just moved to their new office in Centerville! We are pretty happy with it (well I guess I am pretty happy with it because Andy doesn't get to use it for another 3 and a half months).

Tuesday, January 6, 2009

Day 6

I am sorry Andy, but I have found a new love! I LOVE MY HUMIDIFIER!!! It has helped me to get the sleep that I have been longing for ever since I got this stinkin' cold. (I am only kidding about loving my humidifier more than I love Andy. I definitely love him a whole lot more!) Thanks to the wonderful person that invented this ingenious machine!!!

Monday, January 5, 2009

Day 5

Back to work & back to school! This day came way too fast! It seems like finals week was just last week! Lucky for me, I got a two week break from work, whereas Andy only got a few days! I have decided that Spring semester is my least favorite semester because of the amount of snow that Weber State gets pounded with! I was at school for less than 3 hours and my car had 4 to 5 inches on it when I left!

Sunday, January 4, 2009

Day 4

I decided to go through my scrapbooks to find pictures for mine and Andy's wedding video. I am really glad that I put all that effort into my scrapbooks because they bring back so many great memories!!!

Saturday, January 3, 2009

Day 3

I am so excited to get my wedding plans going. Tami, Shanna, and I went to a Bridal Show this morning. It was so fun and so informative! I feel like my ideas for my wedding are a whole lot clearer. The funnest thing at the bridal show was the photobooths. We sure had fun being crazy--as always!!!

Then later tonight, Andy & I went shopping because we had nothing better to do. Andy ended up buying me two pairs of shoes for $16! What a deal! I might just end up wearing my new heels on our wedding day, but we'll see.

Friday, January 2, 2009

Day 2

Today was a very boring day in my world. Tami, Nick, Andy, & I watched Horton Hears A Who because we had nothing better to do, but this movie defintely makes up for our boredom. Steve Carell and Jim Carrey make this movie hilarious!!! It's not only funny, but it has a great message. A person's a person, no matter how small! This movie is definitely one of my top 20 movies!

Day 1

After buying Creative Keepsake's Project 365 Kit exactly at 9 am, some how a Wii Fit frenzy emerged! All the boys in my family go rabbit hunting every New Year's day, so my sisters and I decided to have our own party, but it was not planned. It just happened. My sister, Tiffany, brought over her Wii Fit and we played ALL DAY!!! My cousin, Britney, even got into all the Wii madness!
