Day 84
Most of my day was spent at an FCCLA state competition. Rykki (one of the many techs I work with) & I were asked to judge Illustrated Talk (pretty much any subject that the student wants to present). I have had some experience with FCCLA events, but I was the one competing, not judging. Let's just say, Rykki & I did the best we could. I think it turned out pretty good though. Rykki & I haven't really had the chance to get to know each other because we work at different schools, so today I learned a lot about Rykki, and I am sure she learned quite a bit about me. I sure had fun today!!!

Day 83
FOUR & A HALF YEARS ago today, Andy & I officially started dating!!! It's been an awesome four & a half years and I can't wait for the many more to come!!! The picture above wasn't taken exactly four & a half years ago, but it is from our first month as a couple. So I guess I didn't really take a picture today, but this picture has more meaning to me today than any other picture!

Day 81
Andy & I went to the Draper Utah Temple Dedication broadcast with his family today. I know Andy hated waiting for an hour for the broadcast to start, but I loved watching the slideshow of pictures of the temple that they had playing before it started. Jan & Tami were telling me 'that is the bride's room' and 'there is the sealing room' as the pictures came across the screen. I was so thrilled by those two rooms!!! Sitting there in the chapel not only made me feel so close to my Heavenly Father, but also so close to Andy (and not because he was sitting right next to me). I can't wait to be sealed to him for time & all eternity!!!

Day 80
Wayne played in a championship alumni game today. It was quite the nail biter. Wayne's team tied the game up with 6 seconds left in the game, but then the other team got a fast break away, and one of Wayne's teammates fouled them. The other team ended up winning by one free-throw shot! It was a great game to watch!!! (Wayne is #14).

Day 74
(This is picture is from last 4th of July, but I forgot to take a picture of Jan on her birthday)
Today was my future mother-in-law's birthday. She is seriously the sweetest, most caring person in the world! When I first started dating Andy, he was a total mama's boy (which he still is to this day), but I really can tell why! He has on of the world's best moms! Happy Birthday, Jan!!!

Day 73
Andy & I took our engagement pictures today. As seen in a previous post (see post HERE), Andy has some issues with kissing me when others are watching. My friends, Caitlyn & Dallin, as well as the photographer were there so as you can imagine, Andy was a little timid. He is just too funny! When I get my pictures in a week or two, I will post them.

Day 72
I got my bridals taken today, but since I don't want Andy to see my dress until the wedding day, I am just going to post a picture of my flowers. We took them out at Antelope Island, and I am sure they are going to be amazing because I have an awesome photographer! We were so blessed to have such nice weather. Thanks to my mom, my buddy Caitlyn, and my awesome photographer Nicole for making it so much fun!!!

Day 71
My dad has been raising some chickens in our house! I took the picture because of my mom. She came into the house and walked into the room with chickens, but she walked right passed the box they were in. She just kept looking at the ceiling with a puzzled look on her face. Then she looked at my dad and told him that there must be birds living in the attic. Ha ha!!! Silly mom!

Day 69
I went to order my flowers for my bridals today, and well, they don't have light pink gerbera daisies! You may think that two of them look really close to a light pink, but they are more of a coral pink. If you don't know it already, I AM A VERY PICKY PERSON!!! The flower on the bottom left is the pink I want. The lady had to spray a white daisy to get the color I wanted. So I guess all of my flowers are going to be sprayed light pink.

Day 68
Andy & I have begun our search for apartments! The picture above is just one of the places we looked into. I really liked it, but it was pretty small. UPDATE--We have actually decided to live in an apartment that Casey's (Andy's brother-in-law) parents own. We are really excited to be able to start moving our stuff in in April! I didn't take a picture of the apartment we chose, so that might be a future picture of the day.

Day 65
Andy's best friend (after me, of course), Tony, got home today from serving in the Guam Micronesia Mission! Andy & I went to his house to hang out with him. We played Rock Band because Tony has never played, we ate Burger Bar (thanks to Tony's parents), we went to a wedding reception (which made Tony feel very uncomfortable because he hugged the bride, and he hadn't hugged a girl in at least 2 years), and then we watched The Dark Knight. After all that, all I can say is that Tony has not changed one bit! Andy & Tony still have only one thing on their minds--HUNTING!!! It's all they talk about, but I am still so happy to have Tony back, but I think Andy is more excited than I am. Welcome home Elder!
I took more than just one picture today, so enjoy.
Here is Tony trying to figure out how to get back up after being upside down on this piece of equipment. We are not really quite sure what the contraption is really supposed to do except put you in an upside down death trap.
And the last picture is proof of one of the tricks Tony learned on his mission. He opened that Mountain Dew can with his teeth!!! That's just not right. Teeth are jewels, not tools.

Day 61
Tonight was my very first experience of the Young Adult Ward FHE. I have always had night classes on Monday nights so I was never able to go, but my night classes are now over, so I get to now!!! We watched a movie called Only A Stonecutter. It has such a profound message, and it's only 16 minutes long! It definitely made me appreciate all the hard work that was put into the temple that Andy & I are going to be sealed for time and all eternity in--the Salt Lake Temple! There are a lot of people that sacrificed so much to build that beautiful temple and this movie only tells the story of one diligent servant named John Rowe Moyle. Seriously, the movie is awesome!!! I highly recommend it! Now about the picture, this is one of my best buds, Jess! I was so glad to see her at FHE because it's always a little scary to go to an activity all by yourself. I am so grateful for amazing friends! They truly are the reason I am the way I am!

Day 60
I actually took this picture a few weeks ago at Stake Conference, but I never ended up using it, so I am going to use it now. Although Andy & I are not getting married in the Ogden temple, I love it very much! When Andy was in the MTC, we had a tradition of visiting the temple together every Sunday. Because the Provo and Ogden temples look exactly alike, we decided that this is something we could share. Just something as simple as strolling around the temple grounds helped me so much! (Now, I don't know if Andy did this every Sunday, but I sure did). It was nice to go to the temple and just think. I would take my journal and write for about twenty minutes about anything that came into my head. The temple means so much to me! I can't wait to go through it in 2 months!
